Marines version 1.0

After many months of no progress i finaly added US Marines Armylist and Datacards for Able Archer. I released Datacards yesterday but they were missing few things and few costs were wrong.

But back to Marines - they are different breed of Americans - the few the proud. Their army is lacking high speed, low drag equippment like M1 Abrams or Apache but on the other hand they are veterans and have lot of firepower even sometimes outdated.

So lets show commies what are USMC made of!

Revised Armylist

Tak blíží se vydaní verze 1.2 v českém jazyce je tam relativně dost změnen co se týka dělostřelectva, několik
nových vlastností pro vozidla. Co se změnilo v armylistech? Rusové jsou trochu silnější jejich vozidlam vražednější, měji k dispozici hodně arty  taková byla realita v roce 1983 o proti tomu Američané mají k dispozici silnou leteckou podporu, levné a dobré tanky a velmi kvalitní pěchotu.

While the new version of rules has been released, only ČSLA and West Germans has been released in revised version so only two armies remain now the British and East Germans, US and Soviets are now ready for download there are one particular thing - attribute low profile means that any firer at AFV in cover gets +1 tohit modifier.

past weekend i was redoing main rulebook with new rules for artillery which is now availible on message boards and Dropbox. i wrote about  new arty rules in previous article so here they are. two new armies are also availible - the Panzerkampfgruppe - elite NATO army, you will have few precious units but they are fast and strike hard to name few Marder IFV or Leopard 2 main battle tank.

the second is Czechoslovak People army, not most motivated force on planet but you got relativly cheap units and got lots of them.

also some small note or better a wish. i noticeted some people are skimming message boards if you were willing to register and tell me what you are thinking about Able Archer  i will be more than happy:)

tento víkend jsem pracoval na upravené verzi pravidel (prozatím v angličtině ale česká je za dveřmi)  obsahující novou verzi pravidel pro dělostřelectvo, na forech také najdete dvě nové armády - Panzerkampfgruppe Bundeswehru a ČSLA.
Zatím co Bundeswehr je malá elitní armáda NATO, obsahuje rychlé, odolné a sílné jednotky ale hrač jich vždy bude mít velmi malé množství v porovaní s nepřítelem. Oproti tomu ČSLA obsahuje velké množství levných jednotek a doslova muže nepřítele umlatit čepicemi  ale pozor i jako hrač ČSLA musíte používat vhodnou taktiku jinak si z vaši armádičky udělají tanky NATO cvičné cíle.

BAOR and update

Next battlegroup done is British Army On Rhine, unlike Soviets or Americans  the British are really small and elite army their tank have big guns,big armour and are slow, support units however can be fast, another thing British lack most of Air assets like US or USSR forces a their helicopters cannot win fight againts Hinds or other dedicated gunships they however have cheap AA assets.

Next Battlegroup will be Československá lidová armáda or ČSLA this is mostly horde army while it can be equipped with modernised T72 lots of units are cheap backed by fearsome artillery.

also next in the line will be West and East German followed by the Few the Proud - United States Marine Corps - More motivated and trained US soldiers but unlike they US army counterparts not as well equipped. Soviets get new battlegroup too in form of Air assault troops the fearsome VDV

Další Battlegroup v řadě je BAOR - tedy British Army on Rhine narozdíl od Sovětů či Američanů jsou britské tanky pomalé, ale zato těžce vyzbrojené a opanceřované, jejich podpora už takový pancíř nemá ale za to je rychlá. také vzdušná podpora není nejslavnější ale mají přístup k relativně levné protiletecké obraně. Jejich helikoptéry se však nemohou rovnat strojům Hind a jim podobným.

Další battlegroup je ČSLA tedy Československá Lidová Armáda. Jedna se o hordovou armádu ačkoliv lze postavit elitní skupinu postavenou na modernizovaných tancích T72M podporované smrtícím dělostřelectvem.

Další v řadě jsou Zapadní a východní němci. nově jsem se také rozhodl zařadit další "novou"armádu ačkoliv jejich národ už je zastoupen - United States Marine Corps, slavné Mariňáky! USMC jsou lépe vycvičeni a motivovani než US Army ale nemají k dispozici nejmodernější techniku jakou má US Army. Sověti také dostanou nový Battlegroup a to formě smrti z nebes - VDV.

budu pracovat ještě na designu ale bodové hodnoty, i jednotky jsou plně funkční takže mužete už konečně vyrazit do Fuldské kapsy konečně to těm kapitalstickým psům vysvětlit a nastolit celoevropský mír, nebo konečně vysvětlit Sovětům kde je jejich místo - pod pásy  Amerických tanků!
 kromě trochu background, armylistů obsahuje CoT také 3 scénáře inspirované knihami odehravající se ve světě Cold war gone hot. dva jsou inspirované knihou Team Yankee, ten poslední zase Knihou Red Army.


docela by potěšil i menší feedback protože blog má relativně velkou náštěvnost. nicmeně užívejte CoT a kdyby někdo vyzkoušel a poslal battlereportík vůbec bych se nezlobil
